Bekasi, May 4, 2020 – Supporting West Java Province government, especially Bekasi Regency, to carry out countermeasures for Covid-19, and as part of L’Oréal’s solidarity program, L'Oréal Indonesia Plant takes part in helping local citizens affected by the pandemic. This donation is a part of the total contribution of L’Oréal Indonesia COVID-19 Solidarity Program already reported to BNPB.
The solidarity aid consists of 10 thousand units of Garnier brand hand sanitizers and 246 thousand units of personal care products totaling to an estimated IDR 1,7 billion of value. Collaborating with PT Jababeka Infrastructure COVID-19 Crisis Team, donations will be distributed to volunteers for health workers, persons under monitoring (ODP) and patients under surveillance (PDP) of Covid-19, as well as citizens in Bekasi Regency who are affected by Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) in West Java province from April 15 to May 12.

During the PSBB, L'Oréal Indonesia Plant receives permission from Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia to maintain production activities to produce essential goods related to health and personal hygiene. In compliant with government regulations and L'Oréal standards, the implementation of our safety, health and quality assurance protocols during production, is carried out by ensuring the maximum efforts to prevent of Covid-19 spread in the factory.
